Polystyrene Assay Plates

Arctic White polystyrene assay plates are engineered for detection-critical applications where optical performance and well-to-well uniformity directly determine data quality. Polystyrene’s optical clarity and low autofluorescence make it the standard substrate for absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence plate reader assays. Available in 384-well and 24-well formats in three detection-optimized configurations: clear plates for UV/Vis absorbance and transmitted-light imaging, black plates for fluorescence intensity, HTRF, and FRET detection, and white plates for luminescence and bioluminescence readouts.

Clear-bottom variants with opaque walls combine optically flat imaging surfaces with signal isolation—ideal for high-content imaging and confocal microscopy. All plates meet ANSI/SBS dimensional standards for compatibility with all major plate readers, automated dispensers, and multichannel pipetting systems.
