What it can do
- search_products
- Search the catalog by catalog number, a competitor's part number, name, well count or type.
- get_product
- Specifications, dimensions, options, price and stock for one product.
- check_price_and_stock
- Price, stock and subtotal for a list of items, and whether they can be bought online now.
- get_shipping_estimate
- Live FedEx shipping options and prices to an address.
- start_checkout
- A secure Stripe payment link on arcticsci.com. You review the order, see tax and pay there.
- request_quote
- A quote request for any items, including those priced on request. You confirm it from an email before it reaches our team.
How buying works
- Items with a published price, in orders under the card limit, can be bought online. The assistant gives you a Stripe payment link on arcticsci.com, and nothing is charged until you pay there.
- Everything else is a quote request: items priced on request, large orders, purchase orders and net terms. We email you a link to confirm the request, and our team replies with pricing and lead times, usually within 24 hours.
- The assistant never sees or stores your payment details.
Privacy and support
