Reservoirs

Arctic White reservoirs are precision-molded polypropylene troughs designed for efficient multichannel pipetting and automated liquid handling in 96-well and 384-well plate workflows. The right reservoir geometry is critical to consistent aspiration: pyramid-bottom designs minimize dead volume and allow near-complete reagent recovery, while flat-bottom designs provide maximum capacity for high-volume dispensing.

Our reservoir catalog spans single-cavity, partitioned, and row- and column-aligned formats in both standard and low-profile heights. Partitioned reservoirs — available in 4-row, 4-column, 6-column, 8-row, 12-column, 16-row, and 24-section configurations — allow simultaneous handling of multiple reagents in one footprint, dramatically reducing setup time and cross-contamination risk in multiplex assay workflows. Low-profile designs fit within the Z-height constraints of deck-based liquid handlers and work directly with short-travel pipetting channels.

Volume options range from 21 mL (partitioned low-profile) to 290 mL (full single-cavity 96-format and 8-row configurations), with 25-count case packaging as standard. Materials are certified polypropylene for compatibility with DMSO, methanol, acetonitrile, and common biological buffers. Reservoirs are designed for single-use to prevent cross-contamination in screening and assay workflows, or can be washed and autoclaved for repeated use with appropriate reagents.
