Sealing Mats

ArctiSeal™ mat closures are an inert sealing mat, made from PTFE coated silicone, offering increased chemical resistance thereby maintaining high sample integrity even over extended periods of time. Features of ArctiSeal™ include:

  • Resistant to organic solvents including ethanol, methanol, DMSO and DMF
  • The sealing closures fit into each individual well providing for no cross-contamination
  • Needs no adhesives or heat to seal the plates
  • The working temperature range is from -80°C to 200°C
  • Can be autoclaved clean at 120° C
  • Ideal for longer term storage
  • Compatible with all autosamplers and liquid handling systems
  • Reseals after each piercing and may be re-pierced many times without loss of function

We also offer round well and square well sealing mats that are ideal for use with autosamplers that have soft or delicate needles e.g. UPLC.

ArctiSeal™ with PTFE film has been designed to be impermeable to DMSO and other aggressive solvents.
